
We harvested 4.6 tons of sauvignon blanc from Wilson Ranch north of St. Helena starting at dawn on Wednesday Sept. 8. The fruit was lightly sunburned requiring some thinning in the vineyard and a hand selection once we got back to the winery, but I couldn't be happier with the quality of fruit we harvested. 22.8 Brix, 3.2 pH, and over 7.7 g/L TA. Harvest begins!
